I ordered an old fashioned not certain that is what I got but it was tasty nevertheless. Switched to my Jack which is always a sure thing. Service was fantastic and food outstanding.

Decided to try Bookmakers since we shop at the KS and keep thinking we need to give this place a shot. We3 had dinner there last evening and were very pleased with the experience. Bar seating was almost full, so we selected a table against the wall. we were greeted within a couple of minutes by our server, Alishea (sorry for the misspelling),. Wife had an Old Fashion and I chose from the extensive bourbons & whiskeys. Prices were not out of line We ordered the Balsamic-Blue Cheese Chips as a starter. The chips are made in-house, which is a great plus, and the dressing was very tasty.

This little neighbor bar and restaurant offers great cocktails and yummy food. They have every kind of whisky/bourbon you can think of and they really know how to make a drink. All their burgers come cooked exactly to order and are very flavorful. I love their fries, they have the perfect crisp while still being soft inside and they also have a great blue cheese-balsamic chip appetizer, made to order. The cherry on top is the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere with TVs all about showing different sports.

Seriously would have never known this place existed if it wasn't for the yelp! I was jonesing for a burger and fries so I stopped here during lunch and was surprised to see that they have lunch specials! Burger and fries for under $12 and it was tasty! I sat at the bar and ordered the mushroom Swiss with fries, it was fresh, cooked perfectly and basically the burger I had been dreaming of. It's a little past Southlands east on Smoky Hill so more of a spot known by locals but it's worth the drive if you're looking for a solid burger.

This burger joint has great ambiance and delicious food! We were seated quickly and ordered the tall pilsner. The food came out fast and our burgers were cooked perfectly. The restaurant was not too noisy and was perfect for having a conversation. Will definitely be back when I'm back in town!

Update: I got my chance to dine in here. This place is known to have great burgers but I ordered chicken sandwich! Our waitress said it was a great sandwich and she wasn't lying! The rest of my family did order burgers and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of those burgers. The burger on the kids meal is pretty darn big too! The other thing they are known for is bourbon! And what a selection they have! Huge list with many options if that is what you want. They do have cocktails too - none of them appealed to me so I went with a red wine. The bartender was very generous with my pour! The restaurant is somewhat small and pretty noisy but they had a few families in there in addition to the bourbon and burger lovers.

I went by today and got the Odds Maker Burger and a Bowl of Chili. My Burger was huge and juicy, cooked just right, Medium and it came with fries. which were very Tasty and Delicious. The Chili was not too spicy and came with sour cream and cheese. The waitress and bar tender were very personable and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing. Made a point of stopping here when I was back in town. Those balsamic bacon and blue cheese fries are incredible. The burger was also so wonderful. Everything is great quality and fresh and flavorful. Small location that's dominated by the large bar but manages to be comfortable and inviting. Service was great.
